Regular Volunteering. There are many ways you can support Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund on a regular basis.  Here are just a few examples of how you could help. School/Community Group Co-ordinator Help to promote the Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund to schools and/or community groups in your local area, through presentations and the distribution of educational materials.  Good organisational skills and confidence in public speaking are necessary, as is availability during school hours.  Art For Eyes Co-ordinator Art For Eyes is an annual fundraising art auction.  Support our work by co-ordinating the donation of works for the auction, and encouraging community support for the event.  An enthusiasm for art would be an advantage. Occasional Volunteering Occasional volunteers provide vital support to Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund. As a Daisy Angel, you can be more flexible with your volunteering time, for example helping at a fundraising event, or during our two major campaigns – “Angel Eyes” in December and “Eyes On The World” in May. From stuffing envelopes or shaking a collecting tin to serving at a fundraiser, the time you give will be a great, rewarding investment. We are keen to talk with you about how you can best give your time to support Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund.  As a valued volunteer, we will keep you informed about our current work through newsletters, and you will have the opportunity to meet other volunteers at occasional social gatherings.
