many children are diagnosed too late for vision saving treatments to be used.

Children do not die from primary cancer which is contained within the eye.  When diagnosed and treated early, retinoblastoma is 100% curable by simple surgery.  However, 92% of affected children in the world live in developing nations, where resources and expertise are limited, and awareness is virtually non-existant.  As a result, the vast majority of children with retinoblastoma die dur to delayed diagnosis and sub-optimal care..

As the number of children diagnosed with Rb in an individual country is low, a global approach is vital to further this research and help improve care for all people with cancer.

We need your help to fund this life-saving work.  Your valuable contribution, however large or small, will help us save the lives of precious children, and further our research into this cancer and the best methods for cure..

We take great care to apply your donations where they are needed most. Fnd out more about
how your donation will help.

Thank you very much.
