Get involved

Help Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund sponsor vital clinical research by getting involved with our Angel Eyes Appeal in December.
The Challenge…

Country by country, retinoblastoma is a rare cancer, occurring in 1/15,000 live births, or about 40 new cases per year in the UK, 24 in Canada and 280 in the USA..

Patients are widely dispersed around the world, so collaborative clinical research is essential to understand and effectively treat this disease, and advance understanding of other cancers.

Framed in a global setting, developing countries bear the largest burden.  These countries continue to experience rapid population growth, coupled with poor socioeconomic conditions and meagre government resources.

We are working to enhance the availability and quality of essential care for children in these areas of the world, whilst also expanding clinical research activities that will lead to greater long term outcomes for all children with retinoblastoma.

Our Angel Eyes Appeal aims to raise funds that will enable us to support the world’s only controlled  multi-centre clinical trial of chemotherapy for retinoblastoma, which has already benefited children from five continents.

If you would like to find out more about the Angel Eyes appeal, and how you can become involved, please email us at
