World Cancer Day: I LOVE my smoke-free childhood.
When: February 4th.
Where: Globally.
An annual event to raise awareness of cancer around the world.  This year’s campaign focuses on the dangers of 2nd hand smoke in childhood.

International Children's Cancer Day.
When: February 15th.
Where: Globally.
An annual event designed to educate the general public about childhood cancer, and promote the work of many parent-led organisations throughout the world.

nternational Confederation of Childhood Cancer Parent Organisations.
5th CHOC Conference: Challenges of Childhood Cancer
in Africa.

When: February 12-13th.
Where: Liban Centre, Woodmead, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa (CHOC) and the International Confederation of Childhood Cancer Parent Organisations (ICCCPO) are joining forces to host this conference for families and survivors, medical staff, volunteers and others involved in the care of children with cancer.  Topics will include coping strategies, discipline for a sick child, effects on siblings, new medical developments, the role of traditional healers, and the challenges of cancer care in Africa.

Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa
Unite For Sight - 5th Annual International Health Conference.
When: February 12-13th.
Where: Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. 
This empowering, energizing conference brings together students, doctors, nurses, Peace Corps volunteers, public health, business and nonprofit professionals, anthropologists, policy makers, philanthropists, educators, and others, building global health for today and tomorrow..

Unite For Sight 2008 Conference.
2nd Annual World Retinoblastoma Awareness Week
When: May 11-17th.
Where: Globally.
A week of awareness raising activities around the world to highlight retinoblastoma and its most common early sign – a white reflection in the eye.  Everyone is encouraged to become involved by putting up posters, contacting local media and holding fundraising events to help support long-term awareness raising projects around the world.

Retinoblastoma Week at Camp Sunshine
When: June 15-20th.
Where: Casco ME, USA.
A week of fun activities for families affected by retinoblastoma, including the affected child, siblings and parents.  Attendance at camp is free-of-charge, and the camp is also open to families living outside the USA.  Places are limited and allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so apply today to secure your trip to this wonderful week-long event.

Camp Sunshine Retinoblastoma Week.
Retinoblastoma of Arizona (monthly gatherings).
When: Monthly events.
Where: Tucson and Phoenix areas, Arizona, USA.
RbAZ holds regular family events that offer support and stimulate camaraderie among those affected by retinoblastoma in Arizona. Gatherings are usually held in places where the children can play and socialise and parents can relax and visit.  Events are held in both the Tucson Phoenix areas to make them as accessible as possible in this large state
